Chajul Woman's Huipil --- Double headed serpent birds in the geometric design on this brocaded woman's huipil. Back-strap loomed, traditional 2-panel construction with medium coffee or chocolate rose background. The huipil's soft base material has the feel of what Mayan women often call "Aleman" and is most likely a soft rayon thread.
Condition: Good used condition with a few loose threads and even wear. Selvages on all panels somewhat uneven lengths. Side seams are sewn closed.
