Chichicastenago Woman's Huipil --- Striking geometric design and colors on this brocaded woman's huipil. Back-strap loomed, traditional 3-panel construction with black background Unusual sun design embroidered around head hole. Embroidered randa between panels.
Condition: Good used condition with a few loose threads. Black background has some even fading (indicating base material most likely cotton). Selvages on all panels fairly fine and even. Side seams are open (could be easily sewn closed).
