Chichicastenago Woman's Huipil --- Beautiful flowered design and colors on this brocaded woman's huipil. Back-strap loomed, traditional 3-panel construction with black background (I am unsure if acrylic or cotton). Unusual sun design embroidered around head hole. Embroidered randa between panels.
Condition: Good used condition with a few loose threads. Selvages on all panels with some looseness along bottom of several of the selvages. Side seams are closed. As with many Chichicasteango huipils, there is some uneveness to the length of the panels. It could be hemmed to a even length, if desired.
