Santiago Atitlan Woman's Huipil --- Beautiful hand embroidered blue marsh birds and greenery around the neck of this Santiago Atitlan Huipil. White base material hand-woven on backstrap loom with black vertical stripes. Sides seams are open (could easily be sewn closed). Two of the bottom panel are selvage finished, the other two are hemmed. Very nice embroidered small blue flower pattern around neck
Purchased from Antonio in 2017. She said her work.
Condition: Good used condition. The huipil shows some wear, a few loose threads and light spotting.
