Huipil - Chichicastenango, Woman's H_CC_16_04

Chichicastenago Woman's Huipil ---   Striking geometric design and colors on this finely woven, brocaded woman's huipil. Back-strap loomed, traditional 3-panel construction with black background (not sure if cotton or acrylic).   Sun design embroidered around head hole. Embroidered randa between panels. Purchased from Maria in 2016. 

Condition: Good used condition with a few loose threads. .  Tight selvages on all panels. Side seams are open (could be easily sewn closed). Like many Chichicastenango huipils somewhat uneven panel length (could be hemmed even if desired).
