Patzun Woman's Huipil --- Beautiful flowers and birds on this finely embroidered monocromatic (single color scheme) huipil. The colors of the huipils stripes and embroidery are an array of mostly rich tans and browns with some complimentary green. The huipil reflects a change in some Patzuns huipils both in colors and rectangular embroidery/neckline design I first saw around 2005. Note the decorative embroidery around the neck and fine randa along the seam that holds the two panel together.
Purchase from Juana (PA) in 2017. Work by her grown daughter also named Juana.
Condition: A used huipil in quite good condition. Embroidery in excellent condition. Light wear on base material.
