Mayan Painters and Artists

Angelina Quic Ixtamer and Antonio Coche Mendoza are married and  live in San Juan La Laguna with their daughter. The pictures of the family were taken between 2007 and 2017.  Angelina paints overhead views of the market and fields in various sizes .  Antonio was on of the irst naive oil painters in San Juan Laguna.  He paints more traditional views of market and women in the market as well as a variety of other styles. Its fun to talk to them as they both are proud of and support each others artistic efforts.

Antonio's 4 brothers (Julian, Domingo, Gregorio and      ) are also artists and their work is sold in the gallery.
