Indigo Jaspe Skirt -- Double-panel tube foot-loomed indigo jaspe (ikat) skirt material probably made in Totonicapan to be worn by Mayan women in a number of different villages.. Beautiful indigo and white designs with some subtle cream/tan stripes. Material is cotton.
Dimensions: Tube skirt material is 37" + 4"=41" wide (weft) by 74"x2 =148" long (warp) Weight: 2 bs
Condition: In generally good used condition with one major flaw where the material was ripped (see picture). The tear is about six inches and would reduce available material length by about 5". It could probably hidden in a fold of the skirt if you were to wear it as the Mayan women traditionally wear it. Pictures were taken in Wisconsin during winter. Don't have enough floor space to picture entire skirt. If you would like to see additional pictures, before you buy contact me at email@example.com
