Almolonga Woman"s Corte --- Jaspe traditional patterns in two-panel foot-loomed corte i(skirt) material from Almolonga. . The embroidered horizontal two-tone red randa holds the two panels together. The skirt has been opened, so rather than being a tube skirt it is a single piece of fabric. The stripe design has zig-zag patterns. Colors are very dark indigo, and several shades of rose and pink and off white. . While the jaspe color is a indigo blue, it is probably not naturally dyed. The dimensions of the skirt is 40" (weft) by 82" (warp). The skirt is used, in fair to good condition. There is light wear and fading. Where the skirt has been opened up the edges are roughly fringed.
