Almolonga Woman"s Corte --- Beautiful jaspe traditional patterns in two-panel foot-loomed corte i(skirt) material from Almolonga. . The fine embroidered horizontal two-tone red randa holds the two panels togsether. The skirt has been opened, so rather than being a tube skirt it is a single piece of fabric. The stripe design has fine diamond zig-zag patterns. Colors are indigo, and several shades of rose and pink and off white. . While the jaspe color is a beautiful medium indigo blue, it is probably not naturally dyed. The dimensions of the skirt is 43" (weft) by 87" (warp). The skirt is used, in good condition.
