Nahuala Woman's Huipil --- Maria told me this daily use huipil was is around 10+ years old and was made by her grandaughter, Manuela. She pointed out the "gallo" (rooster), "estrellas" stars and "pajaritas" (small birds) finely brocaded into the weave. Purchased from Maria in 2013.
Condition: Fair to Good Significant bleeding fairly evenly distributed though out base material so creates a warm feel . Light wear. Four selvages complete, two with some openness.
Purchased in 2013, most likely from Maria (marking tag lost)
Width: 31-32 inches,
Length: 25 inches
Neck: 6 wide, 6" long front slit
* Remember the huipil's width should be at least 1.5 to 2 times your shoulders width, to allow for fitting your frame and to cover part of your upper arms.
