Sides of huipil are open (could easily be sewed closed).
2013: Bought from Dolores. Was huipil of her sister-in-law, Luisa Cajon Pablan.
Condition: Condition: Moderately good used condition. The base material is fairly worn with some fading and graying with wear along the selvage edges. . I would guess this huipil was washed on stones in the lake like so many older huipils from Santiago Atitlan. The embroidery is in relatively good condition.
