Santiago Atitlan Woman's Huipil --- Hand embroidered Birds and leaves around the neck of this Santiago Atitlan Huipil. . Light lavendar base material hand-woven on backstrap loom with darker purple vertical stripes. Sides seams are open (could easily be sewn closed). One of the bottom panel is selvage finished, the other three are hemmed. Nicely finished neck line and interesting brocade design across shoulders.
Purchased from Antonio in 2017.
Condition: Good used condition. The huipil shows light wear, a few loose threads and light spotting.
