Santiago Atitlan Woman's Huipil --- Beautiful hand embroidered flowers and butterflies around the neck of this Santiago Atitlan Huipil. Light blue base material hand-woven on backstrap loom with unusual and interesting patterns that make darker blue vertical stripes. Sides seams are closed (could easily be opened). Two of the bottom panel are selvage finished, the other two are hemmed.
Purchased from Dolores. She wore and likely embroidered the design and finished the neckline. She probably bought the fabric.
Condition: Good used condition. The huipil shows light wear and a few loose threads.
