Quetzaltenango (Xela) Guatemala Girl's or Small Woman's Huipil --- Daily use 2-panel huipil from Xela. Base material is primarily cotton and woven on a floor loom in Totonicapan area for use by Quetzaltenago Mayan Women. The two randas of flowers down the front and decoration around the neck are typical of Quetzaltenago and are machine embroidered.
Condition: Fair to Moderately good used condition. The huipil shows some wear, with the lower base of huipil showing some graying and spotting and loose threads. One side of the huipil has larger discoloration just below the colored portion of the huipil. Red embroidery around neck is worn. Sides seams closed. Panels hemmed.

- Neck: 5.25 inches wide by 3.25 inches deep with 1" slit with zipper. Style: oval
